Dr. Plamena Novakova, MD is a specialist allergist in Sofia with over 7 years of medical experience. She conducts examinations, allergy testing, and treatment for allergic diseases (allergic rhinitis, bronchial asthma, acute/chronic urticaria, drug, food, and insect allergies), as well as pre-operative consultations. Dr. Novakova holds a certificate from the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI) after passing a rigorous exam in 2019, making her the second allergist in Bulgaria with this distinction. She treats children over 5 years of age.

In 2024, she earned a PhD with a dissertation on allergen immunotherapy, titled: "Clinical and Immunological Assessment of the Long-Term Effects of Allergen Immunotherapy in Allergic Rhinitis."
